Stream Desk is a private tool used by this organisation to schedule and run YouTube live broadcasts from pre-recorded videos stored in Google Drive.
It is not offered to the public. Only people who know the shared login can use it.
When an operator connects Google Account A, Stream Desk asks Google for:
YouTube access is used only to run broadcasts this organisation schedules. Drive access is used only to copy chosen videos onto the streaming server so they can be sent to YouTube. The email address is used only to display the connected account.
The Google sign-in (refresh token) is stored encrypted on the streaming server so the app can keep working without someone clicking Connect every day. We do not store Drive file contents except as a temporary cache for a scheduled stream. We do not sell data. We do not share Google user data with anyone except Google’s own YouTube and Drive APIs, which the operator instructed us to call.
The Google connection stays until an operator clicks Disconnect in Settings, or revokes Stream Desk at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Cached videos are deleted when they are no longer needed for an upcoming or live stream.
